Ossining Historical Society Museum

The Ossining Historical Society was organized in 1931 as a
non-profit organization with the following objectives: to
educate the public in the history and traditions of Ossining and
vicinity, to receive and maintain a collection of books,
manuscripts, pictures, historical records, relics, and other
memorials bearing upon local and general history; and to promote
through the establishment and maintenance of a museum and allied
projects, programs which bring about better understanding and
appreciation of history through the collection, conservation,
preservation, restoration, study and exhibition of items of
historical importance.

staff commence research. Fees charged help
defray administrative costs of running the museum.
